MR CHIPS is an elegant stallion with excellent conformation. He combines great athleticism with three exceptional paces and has tremendous jumping ability. MR CHIPS has a kind temperament, a good attitude to work and is easy to handle.
MR CHIPS contains some of the best breeding bloodlines in the world in his pedigree. His sire Ahorn, was a very successful showjumper as Olympic Ahorn, being placed in Grand Prix and Volvo World Cup qualifiers, including 7 th in Geneva, 2 nd in The Hague and 5 th and 10 th at Hickstead. He is recognised as a leading sire of top class showjumpers like High Valley owned by Paul Schockemohle and ridden by Jos Lansik. Ahorn's progeny include international performers Hattrick, Feisal, Icamorco, Gambler and Furore.
MR CHIPS? grandsire is the great Nimmerdor who won over $2,000,000. He has sired over 60 international showjumpers and has over 40 approved stallions standing at stud around the world.
Ahorn's dam is by Ladykiller, the sire of much international blood found competing today, his sons include Landgraf I, whose progeny have won prize money of over DM 4,500,000. MR CHIPS' dam Bertina is by Ronald, a son of the famous Ramiro Z, the sire of Ramzes and Ratina Z. This well known showjumping mare won gold and silver at the Barcelona Olympics with Ludger Beerbaum. As well as a first class showjumping pedigree, MR CHIPS displays a considerable dressage potential to which Carl Hester will attest, having ridden him on several occasions at Hartpury College.
