Q. How do I place an advertisement on Derby House EquineXchange?

A. You have two options;
1) Ring one of our friendly telesales team on 0800 954 0119 providing your information and details;
2) E-mail your advertisement using the web site link or by simply mailing equineexchange@derbyhouse.co.uk. Once we have received the mail we will contact you to confirm details and payment method.

Q. How much does it cost to advertise on Derby House EquineXchange?

A. The cost of advertising depends on the package that you choose.
A schedule of advertising rates is listed below;

Q. How long does it take for my advertisement to appear online?

A. Adverts will appear on Derby House EquineXchange normally within 24 hours of processing payment.

Q. How long does my advertisement stay online?

A. Adverts will stay online for 4 weeks from the date of posting. At the end of the 4 weeks we will contact you to confirm any required extension.

Q. How do I change my personal details or update my advertisement once it is online?

A. Simply ring one of our friendly telesales staff on our free phone number 0800 954 0119 or email your changes to equineexchange@derbyhouse.co.uk stating your contact telephone number. We will then process your changes free of charge.
If you wish to change your photograph simply e-mail the new photo again stating your telephone number. There is no charge for a replacement photograph. An additional photograph can be placed at a cost of £5 per additional photograph.

Q. How do I know how long an advertisement has been online?

A. All new advertisements go in at the top of the page and work their way down as they got older.

Q. My photographs were taken by a professional - can I use them?

A. That is up to the photographer. Many photographers do not mind provided they are given credit for the photo. You must receive permission from the photographer to use their images photos. We would draw your attention to the following notice;

Please note all Professional photographs require written permission from the photographer before they can be used on this Website. Can all advertisers please ensure that you have the required permission to use any photograph submitted with your advert as Derby House EquineXchange cannot be held responsible for paying copyright fees.

Q. How much text, photos can I use in my advertisement?

A.for all adverts you may add one photograph free of charge and extra photographs can be added at the following rates

Q. I only have normal printed photos - how can I get them onto my online advertisement?

A. There are two ways to get your printed photographs onto your computer. The first is to scan them and then save them onto your computer, disk or CD and then upload them onto Derby House EquineXchange. The second way is to go to a photographic store that will be able to put them onto a disk for you to take home to your computer to upload.

Q. How do I pay for my advertisement?

A. Advertisements can be paid for using a credit or debit card over the telephone or by cheque. Once we have received your advert we will contact you to discuss the most convenient option for you

Q. What if I sell the horse or item I have advertised?

A. When you sell your horse or item that you advertised you can contact us by telphone or Email, and we can either remove your advert or mark as sold.

Q. Can I remove my advertisement if needed?

A13. Yes, you can remove your advert at anytime for any reason. Simply ring our friendly telesales staff on our free phone 0800 954 0119 or mail equineexchange@derbyhouse.co.uk
Please note that removing an advert before its expiration date will result in forfeiting the remaining time for that ad. Should you choose to place the ad back on the website you will have to pay for the cost of a new ad?

Q. How do buyers contact me?

A. Buyers can contact you via any of the details that you provided at the time of placing your advertisement. This can be by phone, mobile or email. Derby House EquineXchange has no personal contact with the buyers and all dealings are direct between the advertisers and buyers.
